London: While the stage is all set for the big showdown between India and the arch rivals Pakistan in the finals of the Champions Trophy at the Oval in London on Sunday, the drama on the Internet is heating up too.

A video of former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly being gheraoed by Pakistani cricket fans soon after the match on last Sunday, is now doing rounds on the internet.

The incident occurred when captain and wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed led his team to victory against the hosts — England - at Sophia Gardens to enter into the finals in the tournament. Soon after the victory, Ganguly was leaving the venue when the fans mobbed his car with many of them were seen waving flags as if giving a message that Pakistan would lift the Champions Trophy.

However, Ganguly politely asked the fans to give him space to leave the premises. India, which has cruised through after defeating the Bangladeshis in the semi-final, is looking upbeat.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani crickets are indulging in a mind game against India. More than just captain Virat Kohli, Pakistan will have to worry about the India's solid batting line up with star batsman Rohit Sharma coming fresh with sound form as notched up a century in the semifinals against Bangladesh.
