Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the members of Bollywood fraternity on Saturday in New Delhi to talk about creating films on Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophies.

Many Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and filmmakers like Imtiaz Ali, Ekta Kapoor, Anurag Basu, and Boney Kapoor were spotted at the event.

Talking about the session PM Modi took to his social media and shared many photos and selfies with the stars. He also thanked them for joining the initiative #ChangeWithin and making the session successful.

While many Bollywood stars including 'women in industry' got their representation, there was no actor or film personality from South Indian Film Industry was spotted at the event.

Referring to the Modi's tweet about his interaction with the leading film personalities and cultural icons, Megastar Chiranjeevi's daughter-in-law, Upasana took to her social media and penned her thoughts.

She wrote, “Dearest @narendramodi ji. We in the South of INDIA admire you & are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister. With all due respect we felt that the representation of Leading personalities & cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and the South Film Industry was neglected. I express my feelings with pain & hope it’s taken in the right spirit. Jai Hind”.

According to reports only, the only Telugu celebrity who was seen at the event was producer Dil Raju.
