New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a laugh with actor Akshay Kumar over his wife Twinkle Khanna's tweets on Modi. Akshay had a 'non-political' interview with the PM at the sprawling lawns of his official residence in Delhi on Tuesday.
Out of the many topics, the two discussed, one of them was what people posts about the PM on Twitter. Modi replied citing Twinkle Khanna's tweets as an instance.
"I follow you (Akshay Kumar) and Twinkle Khanna ji on Twitter. From the way she targets me, I understand there must be peace in your family life," PM Modi said drawing brief laughter from the actor. "All her anger must have been spent on me, and so you must be feeling at peace," he added.
"I also read (Twitter posts) and have fun," said PM Modi, drawing another round of laughter from Akshay Kumar.
Twinkle Khanna, whose Twitter handle name is 'mrsfunnybones' as expected came up with a witty reply.
"I have a rather positive way of looking at this - Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work," Twinkle wrote on Twitter.
