New Delhi: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari died at a private hospital here Thursday after prolonged illness. He was admitted at the Max Super Speciality Hospital for fever and pneumonia, where a team of doctors had been monitoring his condition. He died at 2.50 pm, the doctors said. The veteran politician was admitted to the hospital in September 2017 after suffering a brain stroke and had been there since .
Born on October 18th, 1925, ND Tiwari passed away at 93, just hours after celebrating his birthday. The veteran leader had also served as a Union minister in several Congress governments and as the Andhra Pradesh governor. He also served as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand states.
Condoling the death of N D Tiwari Opposition leader of the opposition in Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP Party chief ,Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said the credit of working as the Chief Minister of two states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttar Khand goes only to N D Tiwari .
