Four Schoolboys Swept Away By Krishna in Guntur - Sakshi Post

Guntur: Four schoolboys were swept away by the swirling waters of the Krishna river at Gundimeda village in Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district. Police sources are reported to have said that 7 students had gone to the banks of the river Krishna from Chirravuru village, to have a look at the river in spate. Four of them who waded into the river, were quickly swept away. They were identified as Shiva (14), Seshu (7), Kranthi Kumar (10) and Dinesh. It is learnt that Seshu and Kranthi Kumar were brothers who went to a government school, while the other two victims studied at a private school.

NDRF teams which reached the place, fished out their bodies from the river. Parents of the victims rushed to the spot and were in a state of shock.
