Hyderabad: BJP working president Jagat Prakash Nadda is to address a public meeting here on Sunday where leaders from TDP and other parties are expected to join the saffron party.

Nadda, scheduled to arrive here at noon, would attend a meeting of the state BJP office-bearers at 3 PM, before addressing the public meeting, BJP sources said on Saturday.

Leaders from TDP and other parties would join BJP at the public meeting, state BJP president K Laxman had said on Friday.

After the public meeting, Nadda would have a meeting with the state party's core committee members.

The party's plans for the future in Telangana and the ongoing membership drive are expected to be discussed in the meeting.

Nadda would participate in the party's membership drive in the city on Monday morning before leaving for Delhi in the afternoon.
