Nainital: Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar responded to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's comment expressing uncertainty over his position as a mediator in the Ayodhya dispute.
The Supreme Court appointed a three-member panel including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to mediate on the decades-old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute in Ayodhya.
However, opposing this, Owaisi said that the spiritual leader was "not a neutral person".
Speaking to the reports on Friday in Hyderabad, Owaisi recalled Ravi Shankar's controversial statements on November 4, 2018, on the Ayodhya issue adding that the latter even threatened that India might become like Syria if the Muslims don't give up their claims on the disputed land.
Hitting back at the biased allegations, Ravi Shankar rejected Asaduddin Owaisi's comments saying that some will always oppose.
