Narayana to be deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh? - Sakshi Post

As per speculations, Chairman of Narayana group of educational institutes, P Narayana may be appointed as the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Sources close to TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu confirmed the news.

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh chief minister-in-waiting Chandrababu announced that he would appoint two deputy chief ministers for the state.

Narayana, who is close to Chandrababu, is not a member of either Legislative Assembly or Legislative Council at present. If he is chosen for the post, he has to be a member in either of the houses within six months. There are chances that he may be sent to the Legislative council in the Governor’s quota.

Belonging to Kapu community, Narayana took up the campaigning duty of the party in North Andhra districts in the recent elections. He has been very close to TDP for sometime in the past.
