Naidu Wants To Rule AP Without Opposition For The Next 20 Years

Chandrababu  - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: It seems the Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu does not believe in leaving any of his political plans to the imagination. Throwing all political subtlety to the wind, Chandrababu on Saturday unbrazenly directed his party leaders to ensure no space is left for opposition and that the TDP remains in power for the next 20 years in the state.

With the opposition already up in arms against his style of functioning, that is more dictatorial than democratic, the AP CM’s impudent statements calling the campaigns of the opposition as ‘venemous propoganda’ when he himself refuses to answer their repeated questions on his unilateral policies, might not go down well with them.

Chandrababu had given this unambiguous direction to TDP ministers, MPs, MLAs and other senior leaders through a teleconference here on Saturday.

My life is an example of value-filled politics and honest business. Everyone should have only positive thoughts and work for strengthening the party. If the state has to benefit in the long-term, the TDP has to be in power for 20 years, a party press release said, quoting Chandrababu.

He said there was a need for political consolidation in every district and every constituency and directed the party rank and file to be geared up for the upcoming elections to the Legislative Council elections from Graduates and Teachers constituencies.

Chandrababu NaiduI am able to run my business (Heritage Foods) successfully without even a small help from the government. This was possible with the cooperation of farmers, family members and mettle of the staff. If I do something wrong, it will spread across the state.

He asked the leaders to work efficiently so as to strengthen the party among all sections of the society.

“Counter the venomous propaganda of the opposition parties and dispel any misgivings among people about the government programmes. Development of the state and welfare of people is a 'yagna' I am performing and everyone should join hands with me”, the TDP chief said.
