Ministers support Sabitha on CBI chargesheet - Sakshi Post

Nalgonda Congress MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy found fault with the Opposition's demand that home minister Sabitha Indra Reddy should resign from the Cabinet.

Talking to reporters after meeting Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, the MP asked if it was proper to demand resignation of the home minister when the case was in court. He also said that the CM and party High Command would look into the case and decide what has to be done. Minister Pitani Satyanarayana too supported Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy over CBI chargesheet.

Earlier in the day, Labour minister Danam Nagender who also met the Chief Minister said he did not know what was written in the CBI chargesheet against Sabitha Indra Reddy and declined to comment on Sabitha.

He reportedly gave an explanation to the Chief Minister over the assault of a constable by his car driver. He made it clear that he would resign from the ministership if there was any evidence that he fought with the police.

He alleged that there are some TDP agents among the police, who are making false allegations against him. He will reveal everything when the time arrived, he said.
