Medak bypolls: TRS-TDP war of words hots up - Sakshi Post

The war of words between the TRS and BJP-TDP combine is getting hotter, with the leaders of the two parties lashing out at each other.

Taking exception to the sharp criticism by TRS leaders, BJP Medak nominee Jagga Reddy and TDP leader Revanth Reddy strictly warned that if TRS leaders call them Samaikyandhra supporters again, they would be 'slapped in the face with slippers..'

The duo addressed the party workers at a meeting in Gajwel in the run-up for the Medak by-poll.

Seeking to put the TRS nominee in a spot, Jagga Reddy and Revanth Reddy sarcastically said that the TRS candidate cannot solve public issues and will end up supplying soda to KCR at the latter's farm house and also to carry the luggage of Kavitha if he becomes an MP.

While the TRS and BJP leaders are indulging in war of words, Congress nominee Sunitha Lakshma Reddy is keeping herself away from controversies. She is going round places telling people that it is Sonia Gandhi who gave statehood to Telangana and not KCR.
