Koratala Siva Rejects Bumper Offer

Director Koratala Siva - Sakshi Post

Director Koratala Siva of Srimanthudu fame, whose chemistry with Mahesh Babu is well-known, is one of the leading directors of Tollywood. His Janatha Garage with junior Jr.NTR was another top hit skyrocketing him into the league of Tollywood's front-ranking directors. According to sources, some of the Tollywood stars are in a beeline to work with him and among them is Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is a known fact that Nagarjuna is putting all efforts to make his son Akhil a bankable actor.

Akhil debut film and recent release, Hello, did reasonably well at the box office but didn't establish him as a star in Tollywood where his half-brother Naga Chaitanya is already in a strong position with a string of his blockbusters.

If sources are to be believed, Nagarjuna had approached Koratala Siva to direct Akhil's next film. It is learned, Nagarjuna even offered a whopping Rs 15 Cr as remuneration to Koratala Siva, but the ace direcor is reported to have turned down the offer. A reliable source informs us that, Koratala Siva wants to work with Allu Arjun and that could be the reason he rejected the offer.

Koratala Siva is currently busy with Superstar Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu which is reported to be in the last leg of the shoot. The film unit is working around the clock to deliver the film on April 20. Bharat Ane Nenu's recent released teaser not only received a thumping response but also garnered 11 million views on Youtube. In the bargain, it has set a new benchmark for upcoming films.

On other hand, Bunny will be next seen in Naa Peru Surya slated for release on May 4. Earlier, there were rumors saying Koratala Siva has prepared an amazing script for Bunny and the film is likely to be produced by Dil Raju. However, so far there has been no official announcement on this.
