KCR wants better roads in Telangana - Sakshi Post

Stung by the criticism that he was interested only in the roads in  Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills during Metropolis to showcase Hyderabad as smart city, Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to give a face-lift to roads across Telangana at a cost of Rs.10, 000 crore.

A high-level meeting at the Secretariat was held on Saturday to review the condition of roads in the state. Deputy CM Dr T. Rajaiah and finance Minister Etela Rajendar also attended the meeting.

KCR also formed a Cabinet sub-committee to study and suggest measures for development of roads. The committee will be lead by Dr Rajaiah.
KCR asked the officials to build express highways to overcome the traffic problem. He also asked officials to build parking complexes to overcome parking problems.
