Now, KCR's son and Sircilla MLA, KTR came to the rescue of his father and lambasted the Congress leaders, and said that the latter had tried to silence the voices of people from Telangana in the past, 

 Interestingly, previously KCR along with his family met AICC president Sonia Gandhi and thanked her for giving Telangana. Contrary to that, KTR is now saying that the ruling party has given Telangana out of fear and that it will be washed out from Telangana.

He also accused Congress for not giving Telangana for the past 60 years. "It will be better if Congress does not say that TRS did not keep his word," he said. 
Replying to a question, the Sircilla MLA said that they are ready for an alliance with CPI if it is willing to come forward.

Earlier in the day, Union Minister Jairam Ramesh said that deliberations are on for a possible tie-up with TRS.
