Junior Doctors call off strike in Telangana - Sakshi Post

Telanagana Junior Doctors, who are on strike for the past 64 days, finally called it off in deference to the High Court order.

Junior doctors will attend to duties from Saturday. They told media that they are putting an end to strike out of respect for the law. This is a huge relief to patients.

Junior doctors went on strike against GO-107 which makes it mandatory for students to work in rural areas to complete their course. Junior doctors while speaking to Sakshi said their problems are going unnoticed. They even stated that it is tough to work in rural areas without required medicines and necessary equipment. 

Due to the difference of opinion between Government and Junior doctors, patients had suffered immensely. Situation went out of control when doctors boycotted emergency services to show their dissatisfaction to government.
