Hyderabad, YSR Congress party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to resume his Odarpu Yatra from November 16, after a gap of around one-and-half-year. “We are planning to resume the Odarpu Yatra from November 16, Jagan said while talking to reporters at his party office in Lotus Pond here on Monday.

The Kadapa MP had launched his Odarpu Yatra (Condolence tour) in April 2010 to meet the bereaved families who lost their bread-earners died of shock after hearing the news of sudden demise of his father the then Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a chopper crash. As he determined to console every bereaved family, he started meeting them in person and extended his support by all means, including monetarily. His tour was stopped, after he was charge-sheeted by CBI and jailed for 16 months. He was granted bail on September 23 this year and a local court also allowed his plea and permitted him to tour Andhra Pradesh and Delhi. According to party sources, Jagan tour itinerary would be finalized after November 16.
