To protest against the undemocratic detention of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the past one year, YSRCP leaders began state-wide agitational programmes on Tuesday.

The party honourary president YS Vijayamma started deeksha at Indira Park in Domalguda along with Jagan's wife YS Bharathi. Jagan's sister Sharmila also began her daylong protest at Palakollu in west Godavari district.

Kakinada: Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara, Golla Babu Rao, Boddu Bhaskar Rao, Kudipudi Chittabbay and other party leaders under the leadership of Pilli Subhash Chandrabosh are holding a deeksha in Kakinada.

Chittoor: YSR Congress party MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Midhun Reddy, Narayanaswamy, Amaranath Reddy,Praveen Kumar Reddy and hundreds of party workers began deeksha at the collectorate office.

YSR District: District convenor Suresh Babu, ex-mayor Ravindra Reddy and Kadapa in-charge Amzad Bhasa have staged a sit-in protest at the collectorate office in YSR district.

Machilipattanam: MLA Kodali Nani, Perni Nani and other party leaders Samineni Udayabhanu, Jalil Khan and kukkala Nageswara Rao are staging a dharna.

Kurnool: MLA Shobha Nagi Reddy, Bhuma Nagi Reddy, SV Mohan Reddy, former minister Mareppa and Chakrapani are holding a daylong deeksha.

Adilabad: Boda Janardhan, Janak Prasad, Koneru Konappa and Soyam Babu Rao have organised a deeksha to protest the unlawful arrest of Jagan.

Ananthapuram: MLA Gurunath Reddy, Topudurthi Kavitha, Y.Visweswar Reddy

Nizamabad: Bajireddy Govardhan, Indrakaran Reddy and Sridhar Reddy have organised a dharna to press for the release of their beloved leader.

Vizag: Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, Vamsikrishna Yadav, Gandi Babji, Chengala Venkata Rao and MLC Sarveswara Rao are taking part in a protest.

Meanwhile in Kukatpally supporters of YS Jagan, under the leadership of Vaddepalli Narsingh Rao organised a rally to protest against the injustice being meted out to their party president.
