I won't leave Congress : Danam Nagendar - Sakshi Post

Former minister and senior Congress leader Danam Nagendar said there was no question of his leaving the Congress Party.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Friday, he clarified that he would continue to work for the Congress Party. He said that he is not power hungry.

“Once, I did enter TDP. But, I left the party immediately as I could not adjust there. I came back to the Congress. If the state government troubles me, I can also trouble the state government,” said Nagendar.

Danam said that he can’t predict whether MIM joins Congress or not during the GHMC elections. “The power of TRS won’t work in these elections. If KCR can’t implement his election promises, the people will teach him a lesson,” said the former minister.

“The state government is doing the integrated survey on August 19. Due to the survey on that day, the auto drivers and daily labour will lose their livelihood for that day," he said. On critisim against PCc chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah, he said: "Making personal allegations on TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah is not proper."
