Hyderabad: The police upon learning that Swami Paripoornananda was making efforts to enter the city outskirts, have extended his ban orders to Cyberabad and Rachakonda police commissionarate areas as well.
It is learnt that Swami Paripoornanada was planning to come to Hyderabad and had even booked a flight ticket from Madhurapudi airport in Rajahmundry. It is understood that Swami had mentioned that he was banned from entering only Hyderabad and he could stay in the outskirts of the city. Hence he had intended to stay in Cyberabad police limits.
On hearing the news, Cyberabad and Rachakonda police commissionarates immediately issued orders saying that Swami Paripoornanada was not allowed even in the police station limits of these two regions for six months. The notices have also been sent to Swami who is at his Sripeetam in Kakinada.
It may be recalled that yesterday, Swami Paripoornanada was externed from the city for six months for allegedly making provocative statements, under Telangana Prevention of Anti-Social and Hazardous Activities Act.
On July 9, the Swami was put under house arrest at a house owned by a real estate firm in Jubilee Hills here ahead of his paadayatra, in protest against the recent statements and campaigns in social media and electronic media against Hindu deities.
As part of the externment process, the Swami was shifted out of the city. The orders were issued over his alleged provocative statements made earlier at different events and meetings across the state.
