Here are the latest updates on rains in Hyderabad city:

* Huge column of stranded and stuck vehicles all along the Miyapur-LB Nagar stretch.

* Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Miyapur, Gachibowli, Manikonda, Madhapur, Khairatabad, Koti, Nampalli, Narayanguda, Uppal, LB Nagar witness heavy traffic jam.

* Time taken for traveling from the 2-km road from Koti to Chadarghat is a staggering two hours.

* Khairatabad to Ameerpet travel is taking two hours.

* From Punjagutta to Mehdipatnam, it took two-and-a-half hours. In some busy areas, it is taking two hours to cover just one km.

* Rainfall at Balanagar - 68.25 mm, Kukatpalli 48.5 mm, Ameerpet 41.25 mm, Himayatnagar 25.25 mm.

* Rainwater runoff pours into Mir Alam tank flooding parts of the Nehru Zoological Park in Bahadurpura. As a result, zoo remained closed on Friday.
