The Governor of Andhra Pradesh, E.S.L. Narsimhan is likely to tour Karimnagar district for the first time today.

His programme will commence at Huzurabad at 10.30 a.m. and end by the evening. The Governor's tour comes at a time when the Telangana issue is beginning to gather steam again.
After visiting the government hospital in Huzurabad, the Governor is expected to go to the Zilla Parishad High School in Mulkunoor, where he will interact with students and teachers. Later, he will pay a visit to the Mulkunoor Women's Dairy, where he will meet the officials and the women gathered at a a conference with representatives drawn from 104 villages and inspect the stalls put up on the occasion.
After reaching the Mulkunoor Cooperative Bank, where the Governor will be briefed on the bank's functioning by the local MLA, A. Praveen Reddy, he will address 500 odd committee members of the Bank and will participate in a lunch with farmers specially arranged in his honour.
The Governor is scheduled to return to the state capital this evening.
