The most discussed and talked 'George Reddy' was released on November 22 and has been creating right noises on social media in the Telugu states.

It has kicked off on a good note and earned some decent money over the last three days at the box office. The film was supposed to do better in weekend but it seems it could not due to the new faces in the lead cast -excepting for Sandep Madhav of Vangaveeti fame and Abhay Bethiganti (Pellichoopulu fame) who plays the role of Rajanna.

The film which is sort of a biopic of the famed student leader from the 70s' at Osmania University -George Reddy, witnessed strong footfalls on its opening day. 'George Reddy' is a story of leader who stood against the Social Injustice and Inequality in the society, which is even relevant today.

The film has sparked a series of videos on social media where many people both friends and foes of George Reddy are coming out in the open and talking to about their relationship with him. With this hype it seems many people are flocking theatres to watch the film, which has earned mixed reviews from all quarters.

Apart from the heroism of the leader, the 'fireball' football scene, the blade fights, and the comedy scenes by the friends in the group is attracting a lot of attention. However, mostly the public are watching the film to know more about the Leftist leader who was brutally murdered on the campus in the year 1972.

Talking about its collections, 'George Reddy' has made a business of Rs 1.5 Cr at Telugu states box office. If the film continues the same decent business then it could be in the safe zone. Exact figures are yet to be known. We shall update area-wise collections, shortly.
