Thalapathy Vijay's latest outing 'Bigil' is creating waves at the box office. The film which released on October 25, is giving stiff competition to other films not just in India but even in the international markets. The film was made with a budget of Rs 180 Cr by Kalpathi S Aghoram under their banner AGS Entertainments.
According to sources, the film touched Rs 100 Cr mark just in three days at the box office. The film saw great footfalls on its opening day and it went on to collect Rs 22 Cr at ticket windows. On the other hand, it got leaked on torrent sites which might have effected its box office collections this week.
The film was dubbed in Telugu with a title name 'Whistle'. Talking about the Telugu collections of 'Whistle', it has collected Rs 11 Cr plus from Telugu states in three days at the box office. Apparently, 'Whistle' should reach break-even figures by end of this week so that it can enter into profit zone.
If this works out it can be declared to be another hit for Vijay in the Telugu states after 'Sarkar' movie.
Bigil featured Vijay in dual roles, as a father and a son. Bigil also stars Jackie Shroff, Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in crucial roles.
