Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the life story of a great freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who hails from Rayalaseema region Of Andhra Pradesh. He revolted against the atrocities of British government in 1847.

In Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, director Surender Reddy highlights the sequences in which Majjari Narasimha Reddy unites people to fight against the payment of taxes to the British government and how he inspires freedom fighters to protest against the british government who were forcing people to pay high taxes during their tough times.

Narasimha Reddy works in the military of Uyyalawada and on his guru Venkanna's (Amitabh Bachchan) suggestions, he turns into a warrior. He falls in love with Laxmi (Tamannaah ) and later he marries Siddhamma (Nayanthara).

Surender Reddy narrates the story in his own style and tries to create interest in the audience by starting the story with Jhansi Lakshmi Bai who inspires her warriors by narrating the story of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. In the first half of the movie audience feels that the story is moving at a slow pace but gradually the movie starts gaining momentum and gets audience drawn into the story and the director has succeeded in his narration with a high intense Interval scene.

In the second half, the movie picks up. But there are several unnecessary scenes to elevate the hero which has been added up to satisfy the fans of Megastar. The Director has used the formula to attract masses with back to back fights between britishers and freedom fighters. The fights are far from reality.

Tamannaah plays the role of Lakshmi and her story has a nice twist in the movie. Nayanthara plays the role of Chiranjeevi's wife who is a dutiful wife and a mother. It is the performances of Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi which helps the film. Finally Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a great patriotic movie with a power packed performances of all the star cast with their emotions, performances, and the great narration of the director.

Every scene of the movie has connected well with the audience. Sai Madhav Burra Dialogue's writing has become an added advantage to the movie and has a huge impact on audience, he has written several meaningful dialogues for the movie.

Another major strength of the movie is the music. Songs by Amit Trivedi have taken the film to another level. Even if the two songs are the same. Even though there are only two songs in the movie, the audience very much impressed with the screening.

Ram Charan's hard work for his father's dream project is seen on screen, all the audience who watched the movie undoubtedly said that Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a visual wonder.

The movie is like a big feast to all the Megastar fans who had waited long for the release of this movie. They are very impressed with Chiranjeevi's excellent screen presence. The audience get emotional watching their favourite hero in the role of a great warrior Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
