Actor Priyadarshi is on cloud nine over the thunderous response his recent outing 'Mallesham' has received. The film received rave reviews from critics and public alike. It was a debut film of Priyadarshi as a solo hero. He aced it without taking anyone's help. On top it all, audiences have received him with opened arms and encouraging his movie with good word of mouth.
Little did you know this, Priyadarshi wasn't the first actor to be seen as the lead actor of Mallesham. Director Raj initially had thought to make the movie with a star hero. By keeping that in mind, he went to narrate the script to Nani and Vijay Deverakonda who are the most happening actors, who attract the youngsters. Sadly, Nani and Vijay Deverakonda both rejected the film as it was like a documentary and it would dominate their star image. Speculations are doing the rounds that Nani and Vijay Deverakonda are regretting losing the project.
Some sections audiences are pretty happy with Priyadarshi and many are raving about him as he is the perfect choice for the film. If 'Mallesham' was made with Vijay or Nani, it would've earned good numbers at the box office. But, it might have ended as a flop because audiences won't accept these kinds of film from these actors.
On the career front, Vijay Deverakonda is looking forward to 'Dear Comrade' which is slated for release on July 26. Nani is finishing his back to back scenes of 'Gang Leader' which is nearing to its completion. Do come back to watch this space for more updates.
