Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is running successfully in its second week all over India and overseas. The movie is running over 250 shows in Hyderabad and as per the reports, Maharshi has garnered Rs 295 crores gross worldwide in one week. Going by this rate, Mahesh Babu’s 25th film is set to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in the next few days.
Maharshi entered the second week in to the majority of theatres and is performing exceptionally well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. Even in the centres outside the Telugu states, the movie is raking in reasonable collections.
By the end of the second week, the movie is expected to hit the $2M mark. Maharshi is the 3rd highest gross film for Mahesh Babu.
Meanwhile, Maharshi is continuing its decent run in the US box office. As of now, the movie has touched $1.7 million-mark in USA collecting $39,457 on Day 9 and $61,040 on Day 10.
Released on May 9, Maharshi is creating a storm at the box office. While the movie received mixed reviews, the appreciation being showered by the audience can be witnessed in the records Maharshi is breaking at the box office. In its first weekend itself, Maharshi successfully crossed the Rs 100-crore mark worldwide. Mahesh Babu's performance is being lauded by the audience, who can't stop praising the actor for choosing a message-oriented movie.
'Maharshi' is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and jointly produced by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt. Allari Naresh, Jagapathi Babu, Pooja Hegde, and Vennela Kishore have received appreciation and applause from movie buffs for their mind-blowing performances in 'Maharshi'.
