The 25th movie of Mahesh Babu went past the Rs 100-crore gross mark at the worldwide box office within the first weekend. Trade analysts are betting big on 'Maharshi' to smash several box office records. As per the latest reports on the box office collections, Maharshi has surpassed 'Rangasthalam', one of the top grosser films of 2018.
In some of the selected regions of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Maharshi has moved past the box-office collections of Ram Charan starrer Rangasthalam in the first week of release.

Meanwhile, on Day 7 Maharshi continues to rake in moolah at the box office. According to trade analysts, Maharshi has earned nearly Rs 295 crore gross with a share of Rs 153.24 crore worldwide while also crossed the gross collection of Bharat Ane Nenu in just one week. Maharshi has turned out to become the biggest ever opening in Mahesh Babu's entire career.
Maharshi features Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Prakash Raj and Jaya Sudha in key roles. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the movie is jointly produced by Dil Raju, C Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V Potluriunder the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
