Mahesh Babu's Maharshi magic is spreading on and the applause doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. The movie has already cemented its position at the box office within four days of its release earning Rs 100 crore. Also, the viewers are appreciating the noble initiative taken up in Maharshi.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu is also one among them. The Vice President, who recently watched the movie with his family members lauded Mahesh Babu, director Vamshi Paidipally and the producers for delivering a socially relevant movie with a strong message to the present day youth.

Expressing happiness that the film-makers for choosing a brilliant story set against the traditional rural backdrop, Venkaiah Naidu took to Twitter commending the effective depiction of the farmers’ hard work and their never-ending issues, which were relevant.

He stated that Maharshi was not just an eye-opener for the audience but also the political fraternity.

In response to Venkaiah Naidu's post, Mahesh Babu expressed his gratitude adding that his words have inspired them to keep doing movies like Maharshi.

Meanwhile, the Maharshi team is elated over the stupendous success of the film which is drawing praise from all sections of viewers.

Maharshi also stars Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. 'Maharshi' is jointly produced by Dil Raju, C Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V Potluri. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
