Will Maharshi Break Another Baahubali Record?

Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu is grabbing the limelight for all the good reasons. We all know that 'Maharshi' is one of the hugely awaited films of the year. Not only fans even movie celebrities like Sukumar, Samantha among others have sent best wishes to 'Maharshi' team, expressing their desire to watch the movie.

On the other hand, they have also predicted that 'Maharshi' would be a blockbuster hit. There is no doubt 'Maharshi' will break many box office records by the end of its theatrical run. The advance booking of tickets for the film has been phenomenal as over 90% tickets of the first day shows have been sold out even before the movie release.

It's a known fact that the teaser, trailer and posters of Maharshi have received a thumping response from all quarters. The jukebox of 'Maharshi' though has received mixed reviews but 'Idhe Kadha Nee Katha' track from 'Maharshi' was lapped by music lovers and has been topping the music charts. Mahesh Babu is on roll breaking records of his peers in Telugu. The biggest record in Tollywood we know was set by Prabhas with Baahubali. Those who joined late to the story, Maharshi will have 2500 premiere shows on May 8 which is incidentally tonight. Prabhas's Baahubali premieres count was 2000 screens. In this way, Mahesh is way ahead of Prabhas.

If the buzz doing the rounds on social media is to be believed, then Mahesh's 'Maharshi' is expected to beat another record of Baahubali. Going by the buzz on twitter, 'Maharshi' has all the potential to surpass the first collections of 'Baahubali-The Beginning' at the box office.
