Director Ram Gopal Varma is basking in the glory of his recent outing 'Lakshmi's NTR' which opened on a grand note. The film has generated a lot of buzz in movie circles as well as political ones, prior to the release. We all were aware that Ram Gopal Varma's career was at stake for the past few years.
And his last film 'Officer' with Nagarjuna has bombed at the box office. Now, with 'Lakshmi's NTR' RGV is back and has delivered a super-duper hit in his career after a long time. According to sources, 'Lakshmi's NTR' has become the biggest opener for Ram Gopal Varma.
Finally, it has passed muster with the audience and garnered positive word of mouth. The movie was released across the nation and foreign countries. The state of Andhra Pradesh remained the sole exception. The Telugu Desam Party has appealed the High Court to ban the film until the completion of elections. The film will have huge impact on the voters for Lok Sabha Elections of 2019 which is set to begin from April 11. In a recently held press conference, RGV stated that he is looking forward to move the Supreme Court in the issue.
If everything works out and in case the movie happens to be released in Andhra Pradesh, surely, it is going to become even bigger hit at Andhra Pradesh box office.
