Will Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade Beat Suriya’s NGK At Box Office?

Tollywood youth sensation Vijay Deverakonda is one of the most handsome and popular stars in Telugu. Deverakonda’s killer looks and attitude along with his performance in his previous movies have helped him gain a huge female fan following. He has been part of many blockbuster hits such as 'Geetha Govindam', 'Mahanati' and 'Taxiwala'.

He manages to stay in the headlines for one reason or the other. Recently, Deverakonda was the guest of honor at Niharika's 'Suryakantham' pre-release event. He robbed hearts of the audience with his speech saying he was stepping in for Varun Tej and Charan who were Niharika’s brothers. Vijay went on to add that he treated Niharika as his own sister. Those who joined late to the story, Deverakonda made his fans proud with his impressive speech ''I attended this function as a big brother’s duty to promote my sister Niharika’s film.”Surely, Deverakonda could have sent sibling goals to his fans through his interesting talk.

Talking about movies, Deverakonda is shooting for 'Dear Comrade' which is nearing completion. Few days ago, 'Dear Comrade' teaser was out which was appreciated by one and all. The teaser piqued the interest of cine buffs. The film is set for a grand release on May 31.

This time, Vijay Deverakonda's 'Dear Comrade' will have box office clash with Surya's ‘NGK’. We already told you that 'Dear Comrade' will be releasing in several languages—Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. 'Dear Comrade' marks the second film of 'Deverakonda' to release in Chennai. Deverakonda made his Tamil debut with 'NOTA' which didn't perform well at the box office. He has a decent fan following in Tamil Nadu and audience are waiting for 'Dear Comrade'.

Now, it remains to be seen if Deverakonda's 'Dear Comrade' can do better business than Suryia's 'NGK'. One cannot deny the fact that Suriya is a popular figure in Tamil Nadu and he enjoys a massive fan following. It might become a win-win situtaion for Deverakonda and Suriya.Everything is going to depend on audience response. We hope, this time Deverakonda could make some big noises in Tamil Nadu.
