Saaho actress Shraddha Kapoor, lands herself into a pickle with her picture from the calendar by Dabboo Ratnani. This shot is facing unexpected flak from online users as the actress is seen wearing a Native American headgear.

Many online users have termed it as cultural appropriation. In other instances, people from all across the globe have apologized for indulging in it, and the Bollywood actor sporting the headgear has raised many objections too.

The picture taken by Dabboo Ratnani as a part of the calendar was shared by Shraddha on Tuesday and garnered 1.4 million likes. However, some people had demanded her to pull down the picture after the issue cropped up.

Talking to the media Ratnani’s wife Manisha said, they were unaware of this and they had no intention of hurting the feelings of the people in India or overseas. She added that we had no idea about the whole phenomenon of cultural appropriation.

In another instance ace Bollywood director Karan Johar was criticized on social media for his reaction to the traditional headgear put on by his co-judge of the show Kirron Kher.

However, Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch took place in Mumbai and the event was graced by Stars like Big B Amitabh Bachchan, King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff, Kartik Aaryan and others actors, who appeared in the calendar.
