If you happen to be in Canada and dying to watch the film, the makers are holding premiere shows. Here's where you can catch the film

NTR Kathanayakudu is based on the life of late actor-turned-politician NT Rama Rao. The film will be released in two instalments which have been titled NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. While the first film which is hitting theatres on January 9 will revolve around his life on the celluloid, the sequel will be on NTR's political life.

It's worth mentioning here that maverick director Ram Gopal Varma too is coming up with another film on NTR title Lakshmi's NTR which will focus on his political life after he married Lakshmi Parvathi. There's a lot of controversy surrounding the film as TDP leaders are calling for a ban on the film saying the film will show the legenadary politician in poor light. However, RGV in his defence, has said that he has only extracted a chapter from NTR's life which was public knowledge and nothing to be ashamed of.

Meanwhile, the much awaited biopic NTR Kathanayakudu which is gearing up for release around Sankranthi features Nandamuri Balakrishna who will reprise the late actor (his father's) role while Rana Daggubati will be seen as Chandrababu Naidu. Vidya Balan is playing NTR's wife Basavatarakam while several other actors are expected to make cameos in the film.

Meanwhile, NTR Kathanayakudu has already made 100 crore business much before its release. Read full story below.
