Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 (2Point0), is running successfully to packed theatres. The film is a sequel to Enthiran (Robot) which was released in the year 2012. Both the parts are directed by Shankar who changed the cast of 2.0 except Rajini. The film has created wonders at the box office. Rajinikanth’s 2.0 has grossed over Rs 80 Crores on its release day by shattering records of Aamir Khan's Thugs Of Hindostan and Vijay's Sarkar. But, the film failed to break the record created by Prabhas in his Baahubali series in all the languages on its opening day. While 2.0 grossed at Rs 80 crore, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion's day 1 collection was on another level with Rs 154.89 crores.
