Prabhas-Rajini Fans Social Media Memes Over Baahubali-2Point0 Clash

Prabhas, Rajinikanth - Sakshi Post

Superstar Rajinikanth's 2point0 is making the headlines for all kinds of reasons. The film is going great guns at the box office. Thanks to the amazing word of mouth as well as lead actors who have performed well in the film by breathing life into their characters. As you all know, Prabhas's Baahubali was being dubbed as the biggest hit in Indian cinema ever. Post the Rajamouli directorial, every film record is considered as a non-baahubali record. So far, none of the star films have reached the Baahubali status. Even movies of big stars like it Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR failed to beat Baahubali record. Now, comes Rajinikanth!

2point0 is on a record-breaking spree beginning with having the widest release, hitting 10000 screens in India and abroad. On the other hand, the Shankar directorial has created a record by selling one million tickets on bookmyshow. One look at what 2point0 has achieved, Rajinikanth fans expected 2point0 to have the potential to break Baahubali records. Prabhas fans who have learned about 2point0 breaking Prabhas record have trolled Rajinikanth on social media platforms. This hasn't gone down well with Rajinikanth fans and a section of the audiences.

Rajinikanth has been in the industry for more than a decade. He is one of top actors in Kollywood. Trolling Rajinikanth isn't fair given his stature and to compare him with an actor who created record with a single hit Baahubali is unafair. Some fans feel that if Rajamouli had cast another actor in Baahubali too, the film would also be a big hit. Prabhas has become a global actor after Baahubali which doesn't mean it takes away what the legendary actor Rajinikanth has established till now. Check out the war between Prabhas fans and Rajini fans on Twitter and few of the screen shots.

2point0 is directed by Shankar and also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in supporting roles. The film has earned jaw-dropping figures on its opening churning out humongous numbers—Rs 110 Crores on its opening day. Exact figures are yet to be known.
