Sarkar Beats Mersal Lifetime Collections, Breaches 260 Crore Mark

Vijay - Sakshi Post

Vijay's Sarkar is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The film has kept the cash registers ringing ever since it was officially released. Sarkar has broken every possible record and emerged as the blockbuster hit of 2018. Sarkar is a political thriller in which Vijay is seen fighting for the right to vote. He plays an NRIwho believes that one vote can make or break the fortunes of a party in the polls. In Sarkar, Vijay is a top industrialist and NRI who comes to India to exercise his voting rights.

Vijay comes to know that his vote has already been cast by an unknown person. Vijay sends people the message through Sarkar the importance of using your vote to right to select a good leader. He also appeals to them not to sell their votes. In one word, Sarkar is a must watch film. It’s a known fact that Sarkar has already entered the elite club Rs 250 Cr club. The film was directed by AR Murugadoss.

Vijay and the Sarkar film unit have received accolades and congratulatory messages from several stars. One among them was from Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Vijay fans are gushing about the film on social media. Sarkar has reached another milestone with each passing day. It is worth mentioning here that Sarkar has beaten Vijay's Mersal record by earning Rs 260 Crores at the box office.

Looking at the current scenario, the film is racing towards touching the Rs 300 Crore mark which it might easily achieve by end of this week. If Sarkar continues with the strong word of mouth in the next week too, this is a sure thing. Apparently, the film would dominate Rajinikanth's 2.0. We are not so sure everything depends on 2.0 talk. It is a celebration time for Vijay fans. Check out this tweet posted by Umair Sandhu:
