Pawan’s Agnyaathavaasi Garners Worst TRPs On TV

Pawan Kalyan - Sakshi Post

Power star Pawan Kalyan has a legion of fans across the globe. His last film this year was Agnyaathvaasi which was helmed by his favorite director Trivikram Srinivas. It had opened in theatres with huge expectations but unfortunately, the film has became a big dud at the box office.

Agnyaathavaasi was recently telecasted in a leading Telugu entertainment channel on Diwali day, but ended up getting the worst TRP rating of 5.3, which turned to be another debacle in Pawan Kalyan's career. Generally, Pawan Kalyan movies on small screen always garner huge TRP ratings whenever they are relayed, but Agnyathavaasi is one film whose TRP rating left everyone in a shock and this news had been creating waves on social media platforms.

In Agnyaathavaasi, Pawan Kalyan had played a software engineer role for the first time ever in his career. Keerthy Suresh, Aadhi, Anu Emmanuel were seen in pivotal roles. The actual reason for Agnyaathvaasi's flop could be due to the director copying a Hollywood film- Largo Winch, directed by Jerome Salle and with Trivikram trying to do a Telugu version of a story where a billionaire is murdered, his son must establish legitimacy to avoid losing his business empire- was something that even Pawan Kalyan''s fans couldn't digest. Rumours were that Pawan Kalyan had also put in his hand in the way the film was presented and that could be the reason why Agnyaathavaasi didn't fare well at the ticket window and subsequently in the Television as well.
