Tirupati: Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma is yet again in the news creating hype for his upcoming film Lakshmi's NTR. Although the director has a knack of sensationalizing a film long before the film shoot begins, this time around, he appears to be in a hurry to catch up with the shooting of NTR biopic series: Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu.

After announcing the movie title and releasing a poster last year, Ram Gopal Varma said Lakshmi's NTR would come as a journey in the final stages of NTR's life, after his marriage to Lakshmi Parvathi. Recently, the director managed to find a person who resembles AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu after a viral video showed the person serving food in a restaurant.

Offering Rs 1 lakh to anyone who could trace the Chandrababu double, Ram Gopal Varma posted in his Instagram the viral video. Within hours from his post, the man in question was found to be a native of Tirupati.

Earlier today, the maverick director worshipped Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati for the first time. Saying that he sought the God's blessings for portraying events factually in his NTR movie, he said that he would attend a press meet at 4 pm in Tirupati's Shilparamam.

After his visit to the temple, the director released a video in which he narrated some tidbits from the movie's story. Irrespective of the other films being made on NTR, Lakshmi's NTR would reflect on the true side of the leaders's experiences after his marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi. He threw an open challenge to NTR's followers on proving him wrong on the story.
