Jr.NTR's Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava which was released on October 11 has joined the Rs 100 Cr club within four days of its release. In a success meet, Jr NTR thanked his fans and audiences for believing in him and accepting the film with open arms. Aravinda Sametha has received rave reviews from the audience and set the cash registers ringing at the box office since its opening day.
Latest we hear is that Aravinda Sametha which is making all the right noises across the world has landed into problems. This time the film is grabbing headlines for a wrong reason. Rayalaseema Vidhyarthi Porata Samithi student leaders along with people's organisations have demanded Aravinda Sametha filmmakers to delete a few scenes which tarnishes the culture of Rayalaseema and projects Rayalaseema people as hardcore factionists.
If Aravinda Sametha filmmakers fail to bow down to the demands and continue to screen the movie with uncut scenes, then they threatened to take the extreme step of banning Jr NTR film in their region. They even stated that they will approach the film fraternity not to make films on the faction which could impact lives of Rayalaseema youth.
If directors or actors want to make films on Rayalaseema, there are enough issues which are needed to be highlighted such as drought, unemployment, migration except faction we would love to watch anything on the silver screen, students said. It remains to be seen, how Trivikram and NTR will react to this. It is being said that the crux of Aravinda Sametha story could be lost if they delete these scenes.
Aravinda Sametha is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Chinna Babu. Pooja Hegde, Naga Babu, Jagapathi, Sunil and others are seen in lead roles.
