Post Maharishi, Mahesh already has another film in his pipeline which will be directed by Sukumar. Mahesh-Sukumar film was supposed to go on floors by end of this year. But they have postponed the film to next February. Mahesh is said to be playing a CBI officer in the film. The Sukumar-Mahesh combo last worked together in No.1 which failed miserably at the box office. This time, Sukumar plans are completely different and he is planning to rope in NTR or Ram Charan to play the lead role in the film. Earlier, Sukumar had approached Prabhas to play an important role in Mahesh's film. But, Prabhas had rejected it due to other commitments.

Post Maharshi-Sukumar film, another interesting project is lined up which will be with Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Vanga. Mahesh-Sandeep's film will be produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha arts production. This would be a crazy combination in Tollywood and expected to generate interest as soon as it goes on floors.

Before Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahesh Babu faced back to back failures with Spyder and Brahmostavam. Mahesh Babu took so much time to work on his next project Bharat Ane Nenu which was directed by Koratala Siva. Post Bharat Ane Nenu success, Mahesh Babu is riding high on his career signing multiple projects without taking breaks. Is this Mahesh Babu success formula of Bharat Ane Nenu? Or did he hike his remuneration after Bharat Ane Nenu that directors are making a beeline to sign him up? Only time will be able to tell the answers. Watch this space for more.
