Salman Khan starrer Race 3 is going great guns at the box office. Unfortunately, Race 3 failed to garner expected reasponse and has been loved by only a few section of the audiences. Yet the film continues to rake in substantial moolah at the box office. On its opening day June 15, Race 3 was expected to collect more than Rs 30 Cr but failed to rake in that much thanks to lukewarm response from the audiences or perhaps Eid celebrations.
It is worth mentioning here that against odds, Salman Khan's Race has joined the Rs 100 Cr club in just three days after its release. So, it is celebration time for fans and actors in the film. Race 3 is Salman Khan's fourth film to collect Rs 100 Cr in a short span after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai at the ticket window. It would become difficult for Race 3 to earn bucks as weekdays have just begun. It remains to be seen if Race 3 will see a dip in its collections. How much Race 3 will be able to collect 200 Cr,250 Cr and 300 Cr. Only time can reveal the answers.
Two weeks are left for Race 3 to earn big bucks at the box office. On June 25, the most awaited biopic of Sanjay Dutt featuring Ranbir Kapoor playing as the lead will hit screens. The trailer of the film titled Sanju has already received a thunderous round of applause from the audiences when compared to Race 3. On other hand, Race 3 is giving stiff competition to Kareena Kapoor's Veeri Di Wedding which is inching towards touching the Rs 100 Cr mark. Race 3 is directed by Remo D'Souza and stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala are in key roles.
