Double Murder: Woman, Daughter-In-Law Bludgeoned To Death In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A woman and her daughter-in-law were found dead at their residence in the city on Tuesday. The incident took place in Roshan colony in Mailardevpally police station area.

The victims, identified as Sabiha Begum (55) and her daughter-in-law Tayyabba Begum had moved to a house at Roshan colony in Vattepally, Mylardevpally two months ago.

Tayyabba got married to Moin Khan, this year in March. As per the details, Tayyabba Begum's husband left for work at around 11.30 am on Monday. When Khan returned home around midnight, he found both his mother and wife lying in a pool of blood at two separate places. The police informed that the victims were bludgeoned to death by unknown assailants.

The police suspect the women were murdered during the day time as the blood around the bodies was dried up indicating the murder might have been committed around 4 pm.

The bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. The police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
