CM’s Wife Shoots Music Video With Big B, Courts Controversy

Amruta Fadnavis shook a leg with Amitabh Bachchan for a music video - Sakshi Post

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis's wife Amruta Fadnavis shook a leg with Amitabh Bachchan for a music video. Titled as 'Phir Se', the song is crooned by Amruta and would be seen on screen for the first time in this album.

Unlike past CMs' wifes who have kept away from public eye, Amruta is high profile. She is as busy as her husband Devendra. Of late, she scorched the ramp for a Pune-based fashion design institute at the New York Fashion Week.

Amruta is an Associate Vice-President for Axis Bank, a trained singer, who had lent voices for B-Town flicks of Prakash Jha’s ‘Jai Gangaajal’ and Kunal Kohli’s ‘Phir Se’.

80ppl have died due to #notebandi. The real beneficiary of new currency dancing with Big B. Did u both PM and CM notice?

Meanwhile, as the news broke out of her jig with Big B, there were mixed responses.

"80ppl have died due to #notebandi. The real beneficiary of new currency dancing with Big B. Did u both PM and CM notice?" tweeted Sanjay Nirupam, President of Mumbai Congress.

However, writer Shobha De backed her tweeting, "Amruta Fadnavis. Ignore critics! Go for it".

The song has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-series. It has been shot in South Mumbai’s Opera House. Amruta clad in red dress with high- heeled shoes look effused elegance.

Here are the tweets by Big B over the music video:
