Chandrababu neglecting Seema, North Andhra: YS Jagan - Sakshi Post

Kadapa: YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hit out at AP Chandra Babu Naidu on Tuesday over doing injustice to the districts in Rayalaseema and North Andhra regions.


Speaking here on the sidelines of his visit to the Paidipalem Project in Simhadripuram mandal of YSR district, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is partial towards some districts in the state”, he alleged.


YS Jagan said, ”We are not against the development of Capital city. But our interest lies in the equitable distribution of development to all regions. Developing only the area around the capital city is nothing but repeating the mistake of focusing only on Hyderabad.


Speaking about the Srisailam reservoir, he said there has been a great dissent among the people of Rayaseema region as the dead storage level of reservoir is maintained below 854 feet. due to this, the region is parched for water via Pothireddypadu head regulator. 


He also slammed Chandrababu for not including any mandal from Pulivendula in the list of drought-hit mandals. While 80 to 85 percent of the project work on Paidipalem was completed during YSR rule. After YSR's demise, most projects are in limbo, he said.
