Can Chiranjeevi realise his 'mega' dream? - Sakshi Post

Soon after the megastar of Tollywood, Chiranjeevi celebrated his 57th birthday, he made a statement that made people around him wake up and take notice. He said, "My supporters dream of me becoming a CM."

The actual truth is Chiranjeevi's aspiration to become the Chief Minister has grown by leaps and bounds. Interestingly, the star also seems to have managed to garner enough support not just from CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, but also Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

In the last few days, there has been a lot of talk about Chiranjeevi — on how he's very serious about clinching the top post and how he's going out of his way to woo people to back him. Yesterday, the megastar was in New Delhi to discuss the political situation in Andhra Pradesh with Sonia Gandhi. He is supposed to have made his political ambition loud and clear to Sonia.
What everyone's wondering is how Chiranjeevi managed to get an appointment with the Congress High Command, when even the Chief Minister had been kept in the waiting for an audience with Sonia Gandhi. Chiranjeevi's meeting with Sonia lasted a good 30 minutes!
The meeting has led to speculation that Chiranjeevi may be asked to helm the party mantle in the state. Surprisingly, Kiran Kumar Reddy too is supposed to have expressed his support for Chiranjeevi to replace the PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana.
Over the last few days, most of the state leaders are seen heading to Delhi to meet Sonia Gandhi which means the state's political structure will see a lot of changes.
Sonia must be working overtime to deal with the political crisis in the state. She has three tasks clearly set out before her — One, to decide upon Dharmana's resignation failing which the party's image could suffer a major blow, two, possible replacement of PCC chief and most importantly, separate statehood for Telangana.
Amid the many political developments, one person who's sure to gain something is likely to be Chiranjeevi. With the support of the CM as well the Congress High Command, he can expect a promotion soon. Does it mean his dream of becoming a CM will soon be realised? Only time will tell.
