Bhuma suffers chest pain, shifted to NIIMS - Sakshi Post

Senior YSRCP leader Bhuma Nagireddy,, who was arrested on Friday evening during the local Body elections in Kurnool district, is being rushed to the NIIMS at Hyderabad.

He complained of severe chest pain and is suffering from hypertension. 

The police registered a case against YSRCP MLA Bhuma Nagireddy and shifted him to the Three Town Police on Friday.  He was accused of behaving in a brash manner against the police and cases were slapped under sections of 353 and 506 of the IPC. An SC, ST case also has been registered against Bhuma Nagireddy.

Bhuma opposed the attempts of the TDP activists to promote cross voting. During this period, the police reportedly misbehaved with Bhuma's daughter and MLA Akhilapriya. This incensed Bhuma, who entered into heated arguments with the police officials. 

YSRCP MLAs strongly decried the police action and said that cases were foisted on Bhuma for opposing TDP machinations.
