'AP suffers a lot with YSR death' - Sakshi Post

Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao has said that Andhra Pradesh had suffered a lot with the sudden demise of Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy.

Speaking to the mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Rao said that the development of the state had come to a halt after the death of the great leader.

“Congress cadre has been in deep distress. The party may suffer in the next elections. But, it will only be a temporary one and the party can come back in the long run’, said Rao.

The MP said that some elements had stopped him from entering Gandhi Bhavan after the death of YSR. “Gandhi Bhavan is like a temple for me. Congress party has given me all. I will die as a Congress man only”, explained the leader who was once very close to the former chief minister. He said that either YSR or himself never committed any mistake in their lives.
