AP Sees Single-Day Surge Of 67 Coronavirus Cases; Total 111

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh reported 67 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday alone. By this, the numbers have reached to 111 across the state, health officials said in a statement.

According to reports, most of the cases have come from religious meet in Delhi. It is expected that the virus is spread by the people from Iran and Indonesia who attended the Markaz congregation.

Corona positive cases have been reported in 11 districts in the state so far. There are no cases in Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram districts.

The state officials are trying to trace all the Markaz returnees across the state.

Here's is the district wise confirmed cases:

Guntur : 20

Prakasam : 15

YSR : 15

Krishna : 15

West Godavari : 14

Vishakhapatnam : 11

East Godavari : 9

Chittoor : 6

Nellore : 3

Anantapur : 2

Kurnool : 1

YSR and Prakasam district reported 15 cases each in a single day.
