AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Marketing Mopidevi Venkataramana lashed out at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for spreading false propaganda about YSR Congress Party government and the problems of farmers in AP.
He threw out an open challenge to Pawan Kalyan on farmer problems and asked him to come for an open debate over the problems of the farmers of the state.
Venkataramana critiqued him saying he knows nothing except to read the script given by Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the minister added that Pawan Kalyan's comments on the government were infuriating.
The YSRCP minister said that the problem of onions price hike is all over the country. To ease people from the troubles of the skyrocketing prices of onions for the past few weeks the state government is providing one kg of onion for Rs 25 through Rythu Bazaar.
The state government led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is making all the efforts for price stabilisation through stabilisation fund of Rs. 3,00,00,000 crore and farmers are being provided financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa Scheme.
Mopidevi said that Pawan Kalyan should know all the facts about the efforts of YSRCP government which is always pro-farmer.
