AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed on the pilot project; door deliver of quality rice. The Chief Minister sought details from officials about the pilot project in Srikakulam district.

The officials told the Chief Minister that the feedback from people on quality and packaged rice was positive. They also explained about measures to be taken to implement this service in all districts from next April.

The Chief Minister also reviewed on collecting the rice from farmers, packaging units, and storage of rice at godowns and various other things. He ordered the officials not to delay and quality rice should be packed and door delivered to all the beneficiaries. The Chief Minister is keen on providing quality rice to the people and said that not to compromise on quality.

He said that rice quality should be checked at every stage. Considering the environmental factor he asked the officials to make people aware so that they shall return the plastics bags in which rice is supplied.
